Today we learned how people in the Middle Ages used wattle and daub to create their walls. We are attempting to mimic the look of the homes after the were whitewashed. Thus, today we spent our inquiry lesson painting our buildings white. Next up: a lesson on angles and painting on construction beams.

I really liked painting my house for two reasons. Number one I really like painting. Number two: I especially like painting when my friends are nearby.

Ms. M, building medieval homes is lots of fun. Why did you come up with the idea of building medieval homes?

Wow! This lesson was so fun! I saw that has beams that go with wattle and daub close to school. We still use the same methods today. Your medieval methods are marvelous! Do we have to stop studying medieval times?
