This addition game has students calculating the sum of multi-digit numbers using carrying skills.
How to Play (with 3 digit numbers):
If Students are ready for a challenge they can find the difference between their sums and the difference becomes the winner's score.
How to Play (with 3 digit numbers):
- Each player is dealt six cards, which they arrange into the two large 3-digit numbers. For example if a player is dealt 5,8,9,3,6,8 they would want to make the numbers 983 and 865.
- Players add up their numbers, carefully recording their calculations.
- The player with the highest sum wins.
