PongSat:
On April 6th our Ping-Pong balls head into space. This week we will fill our Ping-Pong balls with the matter we have collected. I can’t wait to see what happens when they return from the edge of space.

Multiplication:
We will continue to work on mastering our times tables. The next tests are on Wednesday and Friday. How are you practicing your multiplication? This week we learn a new game, which uses the area model to build rectangles.

Nonfiction Animal Reports:
By now all your facts are in order, your Topic Sentences grab the reader’s attention and your paragraphs are forming. This week we will focus on our Nonfiction Text checklist, creating a rubric, and designing a BIG RESEARCH BOOK to present to Dr. Goodgrace.
CURRENT EVENTS (in reversed alphabetical order)
Soon we begin another round of Current Events- starring the Magical Minds. We have learned about so many amazing events, from playing tennis on water to Korean speaking Elephants. The challenge of this round is to present your Current Event in your own words, without videos, ipads or smart board assistance and with as little help from Mom and Dad as possible. With the help of graphic organizers and your note taking skills, you will become an awesome public speaker.
